Mother Goose is buried here

According to church documents Mother goose was buried here in 1586.

So called because she corralled her geese to market wearing little boots to keep their feet warm

I have never heard that before. What a lovely lady she must have been. I get a charge out of these old English cemetary gates with the skulls. A reminder of the plague.
