Near Hoxton Square

I forgot to get the name of this street, but it is just off Hoxton Square. In the borough of Hackney east London. Although always an area where London's artists hung out, its now quite expensive. Still a thriving art scene and lots of galleries here. In the background is the Gherkin, one of London's famous landmarks.

I think that parking configuration would be very helpful here, in many downtown areas, especially.

The Gherkin reminds me of a rocket, and is ready to be launched. I can't help you with the name of the road.

Hey Cool. I was just there not an hour ago - right at the foot of the gherkin and I was thinking - up close its not as round as it seems from a distance.

Great photo...have you been to the bars in Shoreditch ? You need to be cool to go there. They check you at the cross streets for a beret and french cigarettes. They wouldn't let me in ;)
