I keep stumbling upon all sorts of interesting things in London. I am reading and web searching to try and learn more about them all. Mostly though I just like finding them. This elephant is opposite the London school of economics and political science (in Holborn). All I know about it is what is written on the plaque. Its not very big, but rather lovely don't you think?

I went to the LSE - I don't remember an elephant - is it at India House by any chance?

PS - as usual...lovely shot. I like how you got the light reflecting off his forehead and ear :)
yes I agree with you.
great image, well done.
My favorite animal and it really is outstanding!
Cute little elephant! I love the black and white. You may already know this, Ham has a London Elephant series. Check it out, its very interesting!
Interesting photo! It seems that the little guy is ready to wave down a taxi!
Have fun searching--we're having a great time investigating with you!
Hi Mo!
To answer your question about part colour in a B&W photo. I used Picasa. Its free to download from google and it has a few good editing fetures. The one I used on my pink blossom photo was Focal B&W. It highlights an area for colour, which I then enhanced with the saturation feature. I don't post directly from Picasa very often as I find it a bit annoying! But its fun to play around with! Hope this helps :)
Very cool!
London has changed a bit since I was there. Do remember the Elelphant and Castle Pub, but not a elephant statue, and such a cute white.
Aren't Torontonians so sweet, and nice, and cool, and... Hmmm... I think I'm being a tad partial... ;D
Love that elephant because she's the cutest thing and because I'm crazy about baby elephants.
oh yes, it is so cute.
this must be a baby elephant. ;-)
He's a cute one! I like this photo!
Hey mo - fancy meeting up with the Lone Beader and me? She'll be in London next week.
