HA! But pubs in England serve good simple food, unlike here in the US. The bars here either serve highly conceptual, expensive food or none at all.
A good friend of mine ran the Apple Tree until recently. Now he's at the Betsey Trotwood, very close by.On Sundays there's an Americana afternoon and evening at the Apple Tree called Come Down and Meet the Folks. It's good.
