London's Snowing

Woke up this morning to snow falling. I set off with camera in plastic bag as soon as possible. Snow falling in April is unusual for London. Most were having fun in the snow. Kids and dogs especially. If you wanted to drive today then this is the first chore required. This man had already cleared the wind screen. He told me there has been snow in the UK in June in the past, but never in London. The weather forecast is for snow for the next couple of days. I guess that will cause havoc with the underground.

I heard there was snow there, in Paris and Germany! Hopefully it is spring when I go in May! :D

Wow! I've never heard of snow in London in April!

Here in Northern Michigan, it is not too unusual, in fact, a friend has seen snow in every month of the year except August. But I will concentrate on the 50 degree temperatures today and wish that Spring will return for you soon, Mo!

Stay warm and safe!

We've had a few flakes too. Actually I've experienced snow in London in August. I think it was around 1975. I have a photo somewhere that my mum took of our house which had been covered in the white stuff.
