Passing by Mansell St in the east end I saw this piece of work being done. I was suprised to learn that the bullet holes in the wall are from WW2. The artist, David Fryer is also currently showing at the Trolley Gallery.
Hey! Thanks for the comment! It was pretty distressing, but fear not - the Suzie-and-her-dad team have fixed everything and there's a new post up. Please comment more!
I love your blog, by the way. I've lived in London all my life and have never seen any of these things! How do you find them? And have you ever considered giving directions to them, or making one of those cool clickable maps?
great photo... feels like something that belongs in a catalogue of the best creative minds of the century or something. classic, yet modern - a balance thats often very hard to achieve. and just kinda cool-looking too. well done. :)

Great photo!! He was posing for you, or you just happened by? Awesome, in any case.
