Well there had certainly been a smash. Don't know if there was any grab. Not a good start to the day for this chemist in Piccadilly.

Smash and Grab sounds like here when crooks drive trucks into plate glass windows, jump out and steal a load of stuff and drive off before anybody can get there. Is that what happened?

Yes, thats not the best start to the day! This sometimes happens to the jewellry and antique shops in Cheltenham.
This sometimes happens in Athens, too.
