Actually I don't know if they were making a movie. It may be an ad. However this scene was being filmed in Leicester Square, attracting lots of interest from the lunch time crowd.
Yeah, it's a shot from "Londyńczycy" ("Londoners") polish TV series about Poles (both successful and struggling ones) in London. From what I've heard some British channel bought it, too. Great blog by the way.

I really loved London. I thought it was so gorgeous and people were generally great.
I went with my mother several years ago and she kept bumping into everyone with her umbrella. But people were nice nonetheless, lol!
The man with phone is polish actor -Marcin Bosak He plays in new polish series "Londoners" about polish in London of course :O)
