Indeed, and one of the most famous images of the St. Paul's skyline is that one taken during the blitz in World War II, the dome of St. Paul's rising proudly, defiantly above the smoke and fire resulting from the fall of Nazi bombs on London.

I remember reading Daniel Defoe's description of first seeing the dome of St Pauls against the skyline.Much changed in 300 years but the magic is still there.
And it's a very beautiful one. And very recognizable. Nice shot. Where did you take it from?
