Along with bonfires and fireworks come the fun fairs and sideshows. A haunted house is mandatory. Guy Fawkes, Halloween, pagan festivals, they've all merged into one. What a great way to keep everyone happy.
Once again, this makes me think of the last time I was in London over this holiday. We stayed on the Southbank near Tower Bridge and we used the London Bridge Tube station all the time. There was place on Tooley Street next to the entrance to the station that drew huge lines of people waiting to go inside and be scared to death.
