November Theme Day - Books

There is something about a book that just doesn't transfer to technology. An electronic book does not give the same pleasure as paper pages do.

I have no idea why I am missing from the list this month as I did register. Those who are on the list you can find if you Click here .

I can't read electronic books. I love purchasing books or browsing the library for just the right one. Happy Theme Day :)

I registered, but have no book image. technical glitch. Wonderful image for thr theme. I didn't realise headscarves were still worn. A good book is timeless.

This is a perfect photo for theme day. Luckily they will never replace real books with technology.

I think your photo is excellent. I thought I registered but didn't.

I forgot about this being a theme day about books so I found several of the ones I wrote more recently and photographed and posted them.

Great portrait, Mo. I'm still in love with "Vroooom", now I want to know all about this "sensibly" dressed woman.
Should we all tell people to "Go see Mo!"?

What a wonderful picture. there is nothing like the heft of a book. I do admit to "listening" to books while making the commute.

When I first saw this thumbnail in the gallery I thought it was from a blog from my part of the world! I think ladies in headscarves are so cute!

I'm a firm believer in paper books and the pleasure of turning pages.

And this is a marvelous shot. Just wonderful.

This is my favourite November theme day photo so far. What a great shot. And
I'm with you - there's nothing that compares to a real book.

So true... nothing can replace books. The next best way to read E-books is to take a print out. great Photo!

I love this photot too, and all that it says. I imagine her living in a council flat and visiting the local library regularly, where they all know her and have the latest biographies, lierary fiction and good crime novels!

Totally agree. I love the feel and smell of books. Old libraries are the best!
