What do you do when the sky is not very interesting, you have technology problems and suddenly skywatch Friday has arrived.
My solution was to look down instead of up. A moment of luck as the clouds broke for a short period as I was passing this small canal in Paddington.
It did involve being interrogated by the building site supervisors to check out my terrorist connections. Once I convinced them I was carrying a bomb in my red handbag, they let me continue.
Have a great weekend everyone.
I am away for a week, but will post (technology willing) an image a day in my absence.
Don't forget to visit all those other skywatchers this week.

Looking down or up beautiful sky indeed.
Lovely shot, well done!
I love the angle and the compositon of this photo. I am a real sucker for reflections in water! Great pick for SWF! :)
You've done it pretty well! Great capture!
Great shot! 'They' must have spotted you on CCTV.
That's a clear canal and interesting Skywatch post.
It's superb. Excellent photography, the mundane is made into a wondrous image.

By the way, I love your description of the art on the gate on my site.
