Technology and I have not had the best relationship over the past couple of days. On going problems with Internet connection. BT please get this sorted! Disk failure. (Hoping disk recovery people can retrieve, fingers crossed. 3 months of photos are at risk.) Backup failure.Sometimes its a good idea to contemplate on a park bench somewhere for a couple of hours.

It is terrible when a computer drive fail, I hope you can get it sorted out without too much loss.
I was in a similar-ish situation a few months ago when the drive in my laptop failed. Luckily I had my photos on an external drive and a backup of them on another, so they were safe.
Stupidly though I had no up to date backup of the laptop, so lost everything else from the previous 6 months.
