New Years Day Parade

More than half a million people turned out to watch the 10,000 plus participants in London's New Year Day parade. 23 of London's boroughs were represented. 23 American marching bands were there. Clubs of many and varied interests were there, from the Sussex Bonfire Society to the Mini car celebrating 50 years of the mini with a car from every year represented. I'll show you more of the parade over the next few days.

This photo can't be beat. Just look at that smile and that hat pushed down on his ears! Wonderful.
