Battle of Britian

This is part of the statue created by Paul Day as a tribute to those who fought in the battle of Britain during the second world war. The work was erected in 2005 and is situated on Victoria Embankment.

You only show us a portion, but it's already heartrending. The whole must have an even more powerful effect.

Terrible memory of an appalling tragic period but at the same time good memory of my recent trip to London. I saw that statue, the whole of it. Impressive, even more in your pic!
