A very nice shot, sweet models and nice colors/light in your photo.( Have you tried to crop the photo, on the right hand side??) I am not shore what is best, but it might be worth a try.) Thames Parade, is it an annual event??
Love the expression on her face too. Fabulous costume! Do you know what country or tribe she's supposed to represent? I'm not familiar with the costume.
What a beautiful catch, it makes me think of the costumes in the Caribbean Festival parade we have here in Montreal, all the colors of the rainbow and then some!
The thing I like best about this photo is that the expressions of the children don't 'go' with the costumes.
And, for me, the picture is 'made' by the expression of the girl on the right - and it is important that her face is incomplete and on the edge; it emphasises the impression that it was a glance not to be read.
Now you've discovered Night Nurse you can move on to Day Nurse! A word of warning though taking both (at difderent times, obviously!) make your wee luminous yellow! Sorry, was that too much to share?! ;-)

Interesting contrast. Elaborate extravaganza and a cute face.
