Eco Thunder Kid

Eco Thunder Kid lives underground on the Northern Line, he gets his electricity from trains. So begins the explanation of this sculpture that has popped up in Russell Square in recent days.
Made from local recycled materials, his role is to try and teach the people how to be eco friendly.

I am always surprised about what some manage to SEE, use and make out of "nothing".
Creative, - and I guess some will be inspired to use recycled materials :-)
Not much snow left....
But still cold?

Way to go green!

Looks like it's warming up a bit, too. Is that grass I see?

That is really cool, wish I'd seen him when I was in London last week. Love the blog, keep it up.

I thought this looks a bit out of place in Russell Square. Not sure whether it a permanant display as it looks kind of flimsy to be one.

When I first saw it, I thought it was one of those flash 'art' installation.

Hm, interesting. Was it Russell Square where there was a massive wooden structure a while back? an eco cabin or something? I wonder what is going on there. Whatever it is, it's good!
