Feeding the Ducks

I'm still nursing my cold so we are taking a dip back into pictures taken a couple of months back. I think the ducks are known to this lady, they started heading to the banks as soon as they saw her approach.

oh dear! Get well soon Mo.

I wonder how the ducks recognise her - can't be by her clothes (presumably she changes them). And ducks can't be sophisticated enough to recognise human faces can they? Or can they? Must have pretty good eyesight too.

Ha! I was wondering where you'd found all those autumnal leaves! I'm sorry about your cold. I've had it to and so has half London. WHich doesn't make it any more bearable. Hope you're better soon!
