This looks like the kind of day when one gets fed up with snow. It has lost its magic and has become mushy and disgusting.
We've had nothing much more than a few flakes where I live, though I can see patches of it on hills in the distance.
I grew up in London in the first half of my childhood and I remember trudging to school through snow, getting wet and cold, then the pleasures of arriving in the school playground where there were long ice-slides (no longer allowed!) I was very unsteady on my feet and felt foolish in front of the boys who built long, long slides and ran at them with gusto and zoomed to the end with panache. Even the other girls did better than me but I was very proud of the few feet I managed.
A very good shot. Nice composition and the umbrella and the colors are great.
I have been a few times to a big park up in the north of London..... Trent park (?) They had a "cafe", a place it was nice to visit after a long walk.....
You have so many beautiful parks.... One of many nice things in London.:-)

So beautiful! I love the touch of colour in the otherwise black and white picture... amazing!
That is lovely - such a cheery splash of colour!
This kind of photo stirs my imagination. The start of a short story or poem?
Love that colorful umbrella! Beautiful shot as always. Ciao, Kiki
I love umbrellas too :o) I'm also loving all your snow shots, but I hope it lets up for you guys soon, because it seems to be causing travel mayhem!
It looks like they certainly need the brolly!

I like the idea of strolling umbrellas!
I love your colourful strolling umbrellas! Thanks Mo!
For some reason, I dislike umbrellas and never use them.
Oh what a shot. Perfectly framed. One for printing and framing I'd say, Mo!
Lovely shot, I wish I was still there. I know everyone is complaining about the snow but London is magical in white isn't it?
Joe

Oh, I wish we had snow!
