Today is a special theme day to mark the 5th anniversary of Paris Daily Photo. Eric began the concept of a daily photo of the city you live in. Five years on there are now more than 1100 of us.
To mark this occasion we are all posting a picture taken from the ground or at an odd angle. A technique Eric often uses.
I chose these cupcakes from the Alice in Wonderland store of Selfridges department store. A cake for Eric to say congratulations and a cake for me as it's my birthday.
What a grand day.
Now see what everyone else has come up with

What a nice picture and a lovely way to congratulate Eric on his 5th "Blogoversary" (it's a nice neologism by Kim from Seattle Daily Photo).
Looks like a scene right out of Alice in Wonderland!!!

Well happy birthday to you dear Mo and a lovely cake tribute to Eric, taken in the Tenin manner. Very nice. Enjoy your day!

Have a nice day. I´m glad to know about Eric who was able to inspire you (and so many people) to show us every day a little corner of the cities you live in...
Happy Birthday Mo. Hope you celebrate with everyone and everything you love.
Those cupcakes are too cute. They remind me of those knit hats on those silly sock monkey toys.
That was a very good choice! Elegant and just the way I think Eric would have done it! Well done, Mo!
I love this shot and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Happy birthday - great shot!!
Happy birthday - the knitted cakes are really sweet. Low calorie too!
Happy birthday! May you have many more!
Nice of you to serve cake to all of us! Delicious!
Cute AND clever. Took me a bit to realize they were faux cakes. Duh!
A very yummy post! One can almost taste it! I hope Eric enjoyed it too!
Happy belated birthday, Mo. A nice shot for you and for Eric.
