Is it just dead grass? Looks quite extreme! We were in London in 1990 when it was very warm and they had to close Heathrow because the tarmac was melting. But it didn't look as dry as this.
I noticed it on Sunday when I was walking around a park in the East End - we need more than the spots of rain we got earlier today - but pity those poor Russians - worst drought in more than a century!
My gosh, I though that was a beach, not grass! It's been hot here too, but humid, so we've been getting thunderstorms in the afternoons with torrential downpours to keep the grass green.

But nevertheless wonderful ...
Could be a drop of rain in those clouds. The grass sure needs it!!
Boy, it must be hot.
For a minute I thought this was a shot of a beach!!! Now that is dry!
Lovely image. But I know what you mean by a hot summer!
Wow, you are so right. I thought it was a beach!

That's great, except why aren't there any people sitting in the chairs?!
It looks parched. I think of these chairs on a nice green lawn.
meglio le sedie a sdraio su un prato verde, non sembra nemmeno un parco di londra così ciao elisabetta
Wow, it does look rather dry!

Goodness. I'm not surprised to see brown grass during the summer here in the equator, but that far north, it's a strange thing to see.
Change "strange" to "scary."
Oh, God, my favourite london park! I like hot summer but in Poland we have green grass in spite of it.
