The British government created this memorial garden in Grosvenor Square to remember the victims of September 11. At the opposite end of the square is the US embassy.
This is lovely. I was in London in the spring of 2012 and I remember walking past the American Embassy not knowing what it was, just that it was surrounded by a huge prison-like fence. When I saw that it was the American Embassy it made me sad to see that such a fence was needed.
