Mo: Columbus day is the day Americans reserved to honor the day America was "discovered." I used that term loosely, because Christopher Columbus did NOT actually find America first, and history textbooks are upsettingly skewed.
Can't say I even saw a statue at St Pancreas station when visiting London recently. We caught the Eurostar from there to go to Paris and was amazed at such a large international station. Great trip over and we were there in no time.
