Once upon a time a terrorist tried to blow up parliament. We remember this each year by throwing squillions of gunpowder into the sky and go oooh ahhh isn't that pretty. We're a strange lot us human beings. Do love a cracker or two.
Pretty spectacular. Sorry for the neighbourhood dogs tho. Our dog spends Guy Fawkes shivering and miserable however hard we try to muffle the sounds of bangs and whistles.
Wonderful shot! I'm a huge fan of fireworks as well. I guess you celebrate the fact that parliament was not blown up, not the fact that someone tried to do it ;o)
