I was just thinking the same thing the other day when I was wandering around The Heath. Some of the trees were bare and some still had leaves and all the snow made for a truly atmospheric experience.
You got me. I took a photo of a red tree next to a decorated evergreen tree in our town square. I thought was a nice contrast, but you got me with the snow. :-)

Wow - you are so right Mo. That scene is strangely incongruous.
Ahh, millenium bridge. Was there about a month ago (But no snow then)! Trees look nice.
Gorgeous shot Mo.
I love this view and it seems so unusual to see it with snow!
Our trees have lost their leaves and they are crumbling in the cold under foot instead of going mushy.

Lovely shot, but you're behind us with the leaves. Ours had already fallen, so the snow-covered trees are bare.
Once again, I love the color in your shots. There is something both ominous and stately in this photo.
A little color contrast is always nice!

Great shot! Are you up in the Tate?
It makes for an attractive combination of tones.
Oh yes, great colours.
Autumn and winter make a nice shot !
