Flicking through the magazines and newspapers the past few days I see flying saucer hats are where is at for dedicated followers of fashion this coming spring.Hence why this little number caught my eye in a vintage clothing store near Bricklane.

Cute hate, but it looks to me like it could catch in the wind just a little too easily, even if one were to use a hat pin!
My mother had a hat of a very similar design. She wore it at my sister's wedding in the fifties!
I might even be able to wear one like this.
