Sunday Bridges - Stroll across Sothwark

Currently receiving a new coat of paint. Southwark Bridge is next up river from London Bridge (rail).

Best news today - My suitcase has finally turned up. Lost by the airlines on 23 December! I do hope the man I chatted to at the airport has found his. His went astray on 18 December.

Good morning mo,
I see they have bunged in a cycle path. Finally. The times I struggled over that bridge amongst the traffic...
And a fresh coat of paint as well. Must be for the Olympics :-)

The greena and gold looks very sophisticated. I like it!

OMG...that certainly took a long time to find. I wonder if it has been traveling around the world without you.

Every time I see another picture of London I want to hop a plane and return to what I like to onside my home away from home. The painting crew is doing a great job of painting this wonderful bridge. I just love that one of a kind green. Nice capture.

Beautiful, clean and well kept bridge. I'm a retired bus driver and always appreciated bike lanes. Some thought went into the planning of the bridge.

Beautiful paint job! It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint will accomplish. Sorry to hear it took so long for your luggage to find you, but I'm glad it was returned intact. I wonder where it's been hiding all this time.

The bridge is beautiful! Happy you got your suitcase back. Now if only it could talk and tell you of its adventures.

The colours of the bridge look awesome. I suppose you should be grateful that your suitcase eventually turned up and that it never stayed permanently lost...

Maybe your Brittania lady yesterday not only rules the sea but also the air and brought your case safely home!
