Hiya Mo, I always find these birches there bu that daft new Tate visually intrusive and irritating. Probably means everybody else loves them :-) They are so dense there and obstruct the view of the river. They need to be offset by space around them individually. I am just getting grouchy, take no notice.
love the colors in this image, mo, but i do wish there was a bit more foreground, which would have a beneficial effect of setting the trees *into* the scene (vs "on" the scene) -- difference between 3d "space" and 2d "abstract"... imho
