Monopoly - Income Tax

Income Tax Square. Pay £200.

Wouldn't we love it to really be just £200. This tower houses HMRC (Her Majesty's revenue collector). Tax collection has always been and probably always will be the most unpopular thing in our lives.

I think pain is more unwelcome myself.

While the (cool) cat's away.....

(lots of little mice playing, as you will notice when you get back from wherever).

Such a good idea, Mo, and so beautifully executed. You must have had fun arranging this.

Why does this post remind me of Zacchius? ;D

Income tax is quite a hot topic amongst North American bloggers at the moment. They all seem to be filing arduous tax forms!

We still have 2 weeks left to finish doing ours - looking for invoices!

I just got caught up on all your Monopoly posts as I only stopped by for the first one!

I hope you get in toe the bell foundry, I would love to see such a place myself!

Impressive photo.

I like the idea of there being a special place in every town where, if you pass by once in a while, you will be given £200. After all, we have parking places, and prisons and, as you say, taxes - so why not £200 presents too?
