London's biggest party of the year. Pride 2011 took place yesterday. Among those represented was this group displaying the banner for a South Africa charity whose aim is to raise funds to create safe places for Lesbians who suffer 'corrective rape' and fear for their lives.

I hope they raise lots - male sexuality here in South Africa -and indeed in all Africa - leaves a lot to be desired.
Our big Pride parade is today! Hope that group raised lots of pounds!

The Montréal Pride Celebrations will take place from Tuesday, August 9 to Sunday, August 14, 2011.
The Parade is on Sunday, August 14 starting at 13:00.

Like jabblog I am astonished by the idea of corrective rape. I have not heard of this before. The idea . . . that to rape is ok but to be gay is not?
I leave bewildered.
