It's very sad that so many people have had their shops and businesses senselessly destroyed - they will bear the brunt of the cost, both emotionally and economically.
sad the way they act out like this. we had some crazy riots back in the late 80's/early 90's due to this rodney king trial. looting, throwing these molotov cocktails into business windows that would start fires...insane....
It's going to be a huge job Mo, but according to the news I was watching earlier, there are a lot of people out there helping. British people are amazing in the way they just get on with things.
The society must in many ways take responsibility to prevent that such things happen in the future. We can't always think the free market shall solve all problems
Sad - but when people have accepted rights without acknowledging responsibilities these things will happen. We have become too liberal - I never thought I'd say that.
That is quite disturbing Mo. It puts me in mind of a bomb site, or the scene of something incredibly violent. Really gives some sort of perspective on what went down in these riots.

This is such a sad thing to think about especially happening in my favorite city in the world.
Sorry to hear about all the stuff going on in the city. BTW never heard of smirting but it is a great term.
