Volley Ball Trial Complete

The trial run as an Olympic venue for the volley ball is now over and deemed a success. Next year just six weeks after the trooping of the colour, tonnes of sand will cover the courtyard of the Horse Guards Parade. Seating for 15,000 will be erected. However the best view will be from 10 Downing Street (the Prime Minister's residence).

I assume that makes it beach volleyball then :-)
Very popular with voyeurs, or do I mean viewers, from all levels of society.

How interesting. I never imagined that some of the games would take place in the heart of the city.

That's a bit like the fake ice rink in Sydney in the middle of summer Mo, amazing what they do!!

I'd wager the view from #10 will be a solid metal wall covered in grenade netting, and MPs shoulder to shoulder as far as the eye can see.

And a Costa.

This will be something to be seated for and watching

We have 2 tickets for the beach volleyball. Not because we're voyeurs but because it should be a party atmosphere!
