What a pleasant wait for a train. The art work that runs along the platform is by artist
Clare Woods, influenced by the surrounding area, particularly the pools on the Heath.
A quick check and I found this
map of art on the underground. A project looming to bring it all to you I think.
Nice to see a new approach on a station wall, a project would be good, maybe some tight shots of the detail. Can I make one suggestion. The shot has come out a little dark and gray, it would probably have more punch if you increased the exposure in the software you use on the PC.
ReplyDeleteSo there, Mo!!! Do hope this art doesn't get messed up by vandals.
ReplyDeleteGood to know about the art on the Underground. «Louis'» limited time in London thus far hadn't exposed him to this. He's hoping to visit London next spring, so this gives him another thing to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to more underground art!
ReplyDeleteMe too, you should try checking out Leytonstone tube, awesome mosaics of Hitchcock films...
ReplyDeleteA good project! Please do.
ReplyDeleteNo bad effort that one.
