Transport yourself back a few decades to
Poppies at Spitalfields. Real fish and chips. These have not been sitting in a warmer for hours. Cooked to order, fresh as fresh. Eat in or take out. If you eat in you will feel as though you have stepped back to the 40's/50's. The walls are covered in memorabilia from the period, as is the music. While you wait for your order you can learn a bit of cockney. Hand written around the wall are many rhyming cockney phrases such as Vera Lynn - gin. Trouble and strife - wife.

Forgot to say "Yes please" to Jellied Eels.
There's a real old chippie in Theobalds Rd called the Fryers Delight, no music and it has been exactly the same as long as I can remember. Good fish and chips, popular with cab drivers.
That is a place worth trying out.
Looks nice!:)
Sounds like fun and delicious at the same time.
There was always a market for this, fish & chips in many places are not what they were 40 years ago. Best of luck to them.
