Sugar

The sweet stall at Winter Wonderland. As you pass by the food stalls the familiar smells of a fair fill the air, spun sugar, frying chips and onions.

Spun sugar or "cotton candy" as we call it is a staple at all fairs. Lucky for me, I never acquired a taste for it. Of course, I do have quite a few other sugar related vices.

We call it candy floss - not sure if dentists would approve of this floss!

A fair isn't a fair without cotton candy, is it?

Cotton candy! I pigged out on this stuff when I was a boy. Fortunately, along the way I have lost the taste for it. It is entirely empty calories.
