Following on from yesterdays post at the MC priceless evening at the Natural History Museum here is one of our behind the scenes treats. Ok it is a little scary but not as scary as it would be in the wild. Do you know what it is? I'd never met one before. A wolverine. Those jaws are capable of chomping through your thigh bone. Yikes keep out of its way. His fur is very desirable for around the hood of your hat. Why? Because it wont go icy. A combination of its fur type and density means you can just brush the ice off. Pretty important at minus 40. Our behind the scenes tour with the professionals in each field was magic. Dinosaurs, meteorites, plants, animals and gems of information not on any brochure. I even got to hold in my hand a meteorite from Mars. Beat that!

Natural History and More

Lovely pic, but not nice to meet in the wild.
I have known the word "wolverine" forever, but I don't think I have ever seen one before. I will take your advice and steer clear of them if I ever encounter one in nature.
You had quite an adventure at this event.
He looks very dangerous to meet. Let him be in nature and not on a hat.. It must have been a great visit behind the scenes, you can see things you otherwise never see.
What an exceptional opportunity. You are very lucky. This wolverine is indeed very scary. That is quite an impressive set of teeth. And, holding a piece of Mars...I'd love to do that.

You win Mo, holding a meteorite from Mars is pretty darn impressive, fantastic actually. Now that wolverine face is the stuff of nightmares, only a mother could love that face.
