Yesterday Bradley Manning turned 24 he spent the day at a Military Court in
Fort Meade Maryland. He has been in prison since 25 May 2010 for
allegedly passing state secrets to
wiki Leaks. Supporters for Manning in London held a vigil in Oxford St and outside the American Embassy. For an update on the proceedings
here is the Guardian report.

It is horrible the way they have treated him since he was imprisoned.
Thousands imprisoned worldwide yet only this one gets a protest?
I'll bet these same fools were out blowing up everything in sight celebrating Guy Fawkes day, and his famous torture-induced confession (and we're not talking about solitary confinement). At least Fawkes did it for ideology; Manning is just a money-grubbing turncoat, selling out his fellow soldiers for his pieces of silver.
And what's this "Free" crap? The worm has all but admitted (unofficially) his guilt. These idiots should be admiring the US Military, which chose to arrest and court martial Manning, when they could have (legally) simply dragged him out back and shot him dead.
Where are their "free the Tube bombers" or "support the IRA" placards? Ignorant twits.
Seems a rather controversial subject that I am too ignorant to weigh in on.
Good photo though.
May he never see a free day again.
Watched a documentary about Bradley Manning the other day and he definitely seems to have had a lot of mental health issues prior to leaking the info.
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime as they say!
