Granary Square is part of the Kings Cross redevelopment. It is an area the size of Trafalgar Square that runs between Regents Canal and Central St Martin's College of Art and Design. 1080 dancing jets of water make up the new fountain in its centre. The spouts of water leap and dance and they make sounds as if singing.

i love it , it must be fun in summer :)
Lovely!
I would love to see this. We have one fountain here that is similar but not nearly as many jets of water and no sound at all.
How much fun! And I love that have caught an adult in the fountain - normally all you see are pics of children!
That looks such fun! Provided its hot weather! What a fun idea. I do so love your blog - it makes me feel like visiting London again.
We've had plenty of water coming down vertically but none going up. Fun idea, fun photo.
We have a very similar fountain in Montreal's Quartier des Spectacles, it's a huge thrill for the kids!
Amazing - the thumbnail made it seem like an artsy "texturized" shot, but in fact it's a straightforward lovely photo of a lovely scene.
This sounds like lots of fun.
That would be me. It's warm here today.
A case of 'water, water, everywhere'!! Nice to see some blue in the sky.
such a cool shot!
Very nice redevelopment. I like the water feature! :)

Looks incredible. I've been looking into singing indoor fountains for my hallway. I have no idea how they work, but they sound incredible.
