It's Open House weekend again in London. Your chance to see inside buildings not normally open to the public. Some you have to prebook by a certain date so yet again this year I missed those ones and had to stand in the first come first served queues. I was determined to pack in lots but even so, I decided to pass on seeing the Richard Rogers (yes husband of Ruthie Richards of River Cafe fame) designed Lloyds Bank, when I realised the queue was half a kilometre long!!! The mercifully queue-less Art Workers Guild in the historic Queens Square in Bloomsbury was a lovely way to end a full on day.

I like that so much, we have that too each year. But there are always queues unfortunately.
What a beautiful room. And all that art! Amazing that it's not shared more often with the public!
It looks like there is an amazing amount of art inside this one.
We have the same type of thing and I hate the line-ups too so I end up going to the popular ones first really early and then find the quieter ones like you did.
I'd love to tour that building!
That is an outstanding room. I don't know of any similar "open house" day around here. Thanks for showing this one to us.
