Thames Festival

The Thames Festival is a wonderful way to see out the summer with a weekend of crammed full of fun things to do and see and it's all free.
We could participate in firing pots made with Thames clay, witness a traditional Korean wedding, paint our faces, dance till we dropped, shop, eat and drink, be entertained by acrobats, musicians, storytellers, hear a thousand drums be played, and that was just one day of the weekend.
These two young Bolivian girls are preparing for the night carnival to begin. This is the spectacular finale to the weekend with1,500 dancers, drummers, lantern-carriers & costumed masqueraders, the parade finishes with a spectacular fireworks display.
