In 1931 Mr Frederick Goodenough set up a trust in to assist young men from the British Colonies by offering them accommodation in central London while they completed their post graduate study.

Since 2001 the Goodenough College has been opened to students of both sexes and is fully international, with 650 students from 90 countries.

I 've walked past the building many times wondering what is looked like inside, so when they had an open day I leaped at the opportunity to take a peak. This grand staircase in the main hall leads to the library and grand hall.

It is a substantial building. I love the play between the arched windows and the stairs.
