This giant water lily appeared in the courtyard of the British Library yesterday as part of the launch of their new exhibition "Mughal India: Art Culture and Empire".

The exhibition will for the first time document the entire period from the 16th to 19th centuries, showing more than 200 exquisite objects. It runs from 9 November 2012 until 2 April 2013.
