Great picture of the gull! They can be annoying but are very rarely not photogenic.
There is a very serious flu epidemic in the USA now, but it doesn't seem to be the bird flu strain that everyone was worried about.
Hope you're getting better. As Jack said, bad flu epidemic stateside. I'm sure a new type of flu scare is just round the corner...
