Nope, it was the opening or re-opening of the Oxford Circus branch of H & M , a Swedish clothing store.

Wow, that is quite a crowd but, I've heard about how popular this place is. They've actually been a series of stories on the radio about what is called "fast fashion" and of course H & M was one of the first.
H&M took over the Borders bookshop in Stockport - didn't know they were Swedish
I didn't know H&M were Swedish. I assumed they were English. I'm so out of the loop.
