For those of you who are more serious about your flower photographs the Notting Hill Home Ownership is running a competition looking for stunning blooms photographed in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The competition runs until 1 July, details can be found here.

What a great idea for a competition - it's a pity I don't have time to explore H&F before July.
This is a pretty photo. I really wish the sun would return to UK too!!

It's such a well photographed flower that it is hard to think of it as a weed. As a kid, my sisters and I used to pick these and make lovely centerpieces out of them. We always thought they were flowers.
