Tobacconist

The old tobacconist store at the Uxbridge railway station.  Hinting at a way of life in earlier days of train travel.

A real classic feel to your photo. Wonderful!

This shop sure does have a pleasant archaic feeling. Though, since I don't smoke, I won't be visiting it when in London.

I don't think you'd see anything like this in the U.S. although I'm sure tobacco companies would be happy to oblige. This would attract young people who can't legally buy cigarettes in the stores where they are sold.

Nat Sherman's classic tobacconist is still operating on 42nd Street in Manhattan, or was when I was there a week ago..it is an expensive place..also there are some "cigar bars" in New York...expect all this to end eventually when they make tobacco illegal ( polls show most Americans believe this will happen, at the same time marijuana possession is being made legal in more and more places..Really great photo by the way!
