London is the best city in the world, everyday is an adventure, look where I went last night. The moon, isn't it incredible? The Baker Street irregular astronomers were on the viewing platform at Kings Cross with their giant telescope. Not only did I get to see the detail of the craters on the moon but I also got to take this picture via their telescope. It looked like a giant meringue, and was sparklier than I imagined. The astrologers group has regular parties in Regent's Park for a chat a drink and an intimate view of the sky. I'm looking forward to a close up of the sun.

That is a wonderful image. How lucky for you to get the opportunity to take it.
Awesome! You are right. What a great city London is!
What a cool idea... look to the stars.
Oh wow, that is something I would have enjoyed very much. We both have the moon featured today!
Yes, I am in the planning stages of a trip to London hopefully in October. I have a good friend who lives in Denver who might go with me. Nothing in concrete yet. I'd love to meet you while I'm there so I'll keep you posted.
Mo, I found your blog via Sharon -- I also have a moon photo today. How cool that you got to view it through a telescope! What was it about the moon that several of us noticed it last night? (In our case, it may just be that we're finally having clear skies in London!)
Wow, this is brilliant! Lucky you!!!
Hi Mo! Thanks for stopping by.
This is a delightful story. I've never ever thought of photographing the moon via a telescope. And you did very well.
Don't get to close up to the sun, though. Easy to get burned! :)
magic ! :)
What a thrill Mo, super shot, its not everyday you get opportunities like this, lucky you.
