I had to look up the word "allotment", since in American English it doesn't have much to do with gardening! So late in the year, can you still start an allotment? Here in Colorado Springs, the growing season is short.
Thanks to you I now know what to do with an old suitcase.

I have such horrible luck trying to grow anything that I think it would be cruel for me to even try.
That's a pretty shot! :D Good use of old equipment to add character to the garden.
