Blue Cockerel

The latest artwork to take its place on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square is a giant blue cockerel.  Each piece erected here stays for 18 months so you have plenty of time to join the many witticisms that have already begun.

I like it! I also like how they rotate the art in Trafalgar Square. It keeps things interesting for certain.

We didn't manage to find out more info about the cockerel while we were there, maybe you had more luck - love its surprising color against the backdrop.

I spotted that the other day, and I really liked it. I dont' quite know why - it just appealed to me. I like most of the things that go on that plinth, so I have a theory that whoever chooses them has similar tastes to me !

I like this one. It is pretty simple, but I like it.

Mo, I wasn't aware of the practice of using the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square for rotating art projects. I just googled it and looked at the images. What a terrific idea. Thanks for calling my attention to it.
