I stumbled upon this new art work in the city, a testament to banking in the past few years. I wonder how many of the city lads will look at it and absorb it. Mis-selling of insurance is the latest in the banking scandals to be in the news.

Interesting piece. I'd love to read all the comments on this sculpture.
ReplyDeleteI don't have much faith in banks taking care of me or my hard earned cash. The shafts are excellent symbols for bankers.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness - I wonder how that instalment got past the planners.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting Mo.
ReplyDeleteI doubt the bankers would get it. Dollar signs get in the way of their thinking.
ReplyDeleteI love this one!
ReplyDeleteWe need something like this in New York City...but banking here is such a sacred cow even after all the "Occupy Wall Street" commotion ( most ineffectual demonstrations and people in the history of mass movements)..it is no joke that the phrase "Greed is Good" is really the motto of so many people here)
